Marionette's Museum (Museu das Marionetas)
The
exhibition presented at the Marinette's Museum intends to give visitors
a general view of the world of marionettes. It takes the visitor
through shadows, the Orient and masks, giving a special relevance to
the Marionette's Theatre in Portugal.
Although there is great emphasis on the story of these puppets in
Portugal, the museum also includes masks coming from all parts of the
world and from many differing cultures. There is also a space for kids
where they can enjoy entertaining and pedagogical activities.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday.
