Water Museum

Water Museum (Museu da Água)

This is the only Portuguese museum awarded with the Council of Europe Museum Prize and the Águas Livres Aqueduct has been classified a national monument.

The Water Museum maintains the atmosphere of an industrial installation from the 19th century and has various exhibition rooms and steam machines.

This museum shows visitors a considerable amount of the history of how water was supplied to Lisbon.

Open from Monday to Saturday.
