Chiado Museum (Museu do Chiado)
Located in the historical centre of Lisbon, the Chiado Museum, founded in 1911, was entirely rebuilt in 1994.
The portuguese art collection, with works dating from 1850 until today,
is the most important contemporary art collection in the whole of
Portugal.
Museu do Chiado holds a considerable collection illustrating the
Romantic, Naturalistic and Modernistic periods as well as a collection
of paintings, sculptures and Portuguese drawings dating from the 19th
century up to the present day.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday.
