Disabled facilities in Lisbon

Many changes have been done in the city, but still Lisbon is not renowned for its disabled facilities. If you are lucky you will find are some access ramps for wheelchairs.

Hotels however, have taken notice of the requirements of the disabled. There are many good hotels with excellent access for wheelchairs.

In the Expo Park you will have no difficulty getting around as there are sufficient ramps and elevators where necessary.

One of the good services available in Lisbon is the 'Dial-a-Ride' disabled bus that you can call through the number: 21 75 85 676.
