Joana Vasconcelos - Museu da cidade
Bordallo Pinheiro was a famous Portuguese designer, sculptor, drawer, satirical humorist, who became famous for the characterisations he made of the Portuguese people and the many animal forms he designed. The eighteenth-century garden of the Palácio do Campo Grande - Museu da Cidade, has been named after Pinheiro and filled with his art, including toads, dolphins, lobsters, snakes, turtles, and many more. Joana Vasconcelos, the new up-and-coming Portuguese plastic artist is exhibiting some of her beautiful (and sometimes controversial) pieces within this historic garden.
