The Old King

The Old King is the title of a photo taken by Daniel Blaufuks where a man, dressed with a shirt and a tie, is leaning over a book with his face covered by a shadow. This is the starting point for this dance show, which tries to represent the thoughts of this man, what his place in society may be and what moves him. Miguel Moreira, actor, director and founder of the dance company, Útero, invited Romeu Runa (from the Gulbenkian Ballet) to perform.
