Katie Melua

The young Katie Melua has already sold nine million copies of her first two albums. She started at the age of 19, in what is now one of the most extraordinary trajectories of a female soloist. She has performed for Nelson Mandela when she visited the Nelson Mandela HIV Centre in South Africa, has vigourously worked as an ambassador of the Save the Children foundation and has even piloted a plane.
