Carmina Burana

This is the German composer, Carl Orff’s, most well-known piece. The poems portrayed here include love, satire, student tunes and themes from the life within taverns. Rhythm is Orff’s main musical element. He created a dramatic concept where music, speech and movement were combined together. A beautifully composed piece that became the most famous one to be composed during Nazi Germany.
