Carnival Parade

It’s the 11th parade organised by the city’s town hall for this animated time of year. Carnival in Lisbon is celebrated with people getting dressed with various types of costumes on the night before carnival day and going out onto to the streets and partying in Nightclubs. During the day, there is a parade that begins in the Praça do Município (near Praça do Comércio) and goes up Rua Augusta, finishing in the Rossio square. To accompany the parade is the the Brilho and Gloria Felicidade Orchestra.
