Josh White Jr.
The son of Josh White, who promoted avidly black folk music and Blues to white Americans in the 30’s and 40’s, is a singer, writer, composer, and guitar player of folk/blues, pop and jazz. Born in 1940, at the age of 9, Josh White Jr. wins a Tony award for best young actor in Broadway. By 1961, he had acted in over 50 TV drama series and decides to focus entirely on music, earning a nomination for a Grammy in 1984 with the album, “Jazz, Ballads and Blues”. He has reproduced works done by his father and will be presenting and commenting on films about his father, giving an unforgettable show dedicated to him followed by a master class in guitar playing.
