This documental exhibition commemorates the 500th year of the foundation of this national monument, the Madre de Deus Monastery. Within its four walls is the tiles museum, permanently showing the history and development of this famous Portuguese form of art. The central figure of this exhibition is the Queen D. Leonor, wife of King D. João II, sister of Manuel I.
