Gangland

João Pina photographs his trips to Rio de Janeiro, where, for the past two years he has documented the conflict between drug traffickers and the Police. This exhibition shows thirty pictures that also transmit the lives of a population that has engaged in a spiral of violence in their every-day life. João Pina is a young artist, that has been publishing since the age of 18 and has for the past six years given a great focus to Latin America.
